who is a knitting rock star?

My first pair of socks using Cat Bordi's Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles is coming along splendidly!! I can't believe that I waited this long to try making a pair, but they always seemed so complicated. The sock yarn has a nice springiness to it that forgives imperfections in stitches unlike the lace yarn I'm using to knit the wimple from Lace Style. The needles are the same sizes for both projects, but the perfectionist in me is not happy with the uneven stitches in the wimple. I also noticed that the decreases stretch the stitches around it, so I need to investigate tips on knitting lace. Perhaps blocking will help?
