Meet Max the Camel

Meet Max the Camel! He sure is a cutie. I met him while visiting my family in upstate New York over the holidays. We stopped to visit a neighbor's alpaca farm and to check out their yarn for sale. They ship alpaca fiber to a cooperative in Tennessee and receive skeins of yarn in return, which they sell in their shop. The owner gave us a bag of apples to feed Max. Although he was a little shy at first and would only stick his head out to check us out, he finally came out to say hello. My dad threw the apples over the fence as a tasty treat.
